Information Collection
VNetSoftware, LLC is the sole owner of the information collected on http://www.vnetsoftware.com. VNetSoftware collects information from our visitors that complete the contact information form on the "Contact Us" section of the web site.  This information will not be sold or exchanged to outside vendors for any reason.  Usage and other information useful for analyzing the functionality of client application web sites that are in development is also collected on the private side of the web site.

Order
We request information from the user on our contact forms. A user may provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date).  This information is used for billing purposes and to fill client services.  The information is used to contact the user.

Contact Forms
During registration a user is required to give contact information (such as name, email and address). We use this information to contact the user about services on our site for which s/he has expressed interest.  Also unique identifiers (such as, username and password), are required for Clients to access prototype and account areas on our site and allow the user to access private information (such as order history and user profile). 

Information Use
Stored personal information is used to provide a personalized experience by remembering an user's preferences such as shipping and billing addresses.  The information, concerning both individuals and in aggregate, is used for marketing analysis, sales contact, and notification for service related issues. 

Profile
We may eventually store information that we collect through cookies, log files, to create a profile of our users.  A profile is stored information that we keep on individual users that details their viewing preferences.  Consequently, collected information is tied to the users’ personally identifiable information to provide offers and improve the content of the site for the user. This profile is used to tailor a user's visit to our Web site, and to direct pertinent communications to them.  We do not share your profile with other third parties, except when directed to do so by competent legal authority in compliance with the laws of the United States of America.

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user.  Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site.  We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies.  For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates.  A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions.

By setting a cookie on our site, users are remembered at http://www.vnetsoftware.com.  If users reject the cookie, they will still be able to use our site and all features.  Persistent cookies enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site.  This privacy statement covers the use of cookies by http://www.vnetsoftware.com only and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers or third party linked sites. 

Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files.  This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.  IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Communications from the Site
We occasionally communicate to our clients information about new products, services, and service related update special deals.  Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see the Choice and Opt-out sections.  Communications that notify clients of significant issues pertaining to the performance or reliability of products or services written, sold, or licensed by VNetSoftware will be made when VNetSoftware believes that it is in the interest of the client to do so.

Newsletters and White Papers
If a user wishes to subscribe to our communications presented in the form of newsletters or white papers, we ask for contact information such as an email address.  Out of respect for our users' privacy we provide a way to opt-out of these communications via an email.

Service Announcements
On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service-related announcement.  For instance, if our service is interrupted for any reason email is the fastest and most effective means of communication.

Client Service Preferences
We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account we reply via email or phone, in accordance with the users’ wishes.

Sharing Legal Disclaimer
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal, proprietary, or "non-public" information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site by competent legal authority in compliance with the laws of the United States of America.

Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable)
We share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers.  This is not linked to any personally identifiable, (client's) proprietary, or other "non-public" information.

Business Transitions
In the event VNet Software goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, or liquidation of assets, users' personal information will normally be part of the assets transferred to the successor in interest and will be subsequently be handled by the successor in accordance with their prevailing policies and applicable law.  Should the client require that their information be handled differently from this policy then the specific policies and procedures must be agreed to in advance by both VNet Software and the client and the agreement must be in compliance with applicable laws.

Choice/Opt-out
Our users are given the opportunity to "opt-out" of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for information. 

Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications may opt-out of receiving these communications by replying to unsubscribe in the subject line in the email  We also offer an opt-out mechanism on the user profile pages or the user may contact us by either completing the email form or calling the company and speaking to an authorized representative.

Please be aware that VNetSoftware, LLC. is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.  We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information.  This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web site or is managed by VNetSoftware on behalf of the client. 

Surveys & Contests
From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests.  Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information.  The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code).  Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes.  Anonymous Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.  Users’ personally identifiable information is not shared with third parties unless we give prior notice and choice. Though we may use an intermediary to conduct these surveys or contests, they may not use the users’ personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. 

Security
This Web site takes every precaution to protect clients' user information.  When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, their information is protected both online and off-line to the best of our ability using appropriate technology and practices.

Supplementation of Information
In order for this Web site to properly fulfill its obligation to users it is necessary for us to supplement the information we receive with information from 3rd party sources. 

Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users' personally identifiable, proprietary, or other "non-public" information.

Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.  If, however, we are going to use users' personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify users via email or by posting a notice on our Web site for 30 days.  Should this change in VNet Software materially affect the client with respect to the disposition of their information, the parties will sever or modify the agreement to do business under provisions of the VNetSoftware standard terms and conditions or the other appropriate agreement that supersedes the standard terms and conditions.
